Description
The Split Rock succulent gets its name from its two leaves which are light green with a slight shade of grey which split down the centre. All new leaves grow at a right angle to the split. It thrives well indoors, thus can be placed by the window for a nice interior landscape.
Split Rock can grow up to 5 inches tall and 4 inches wide, blooming with orange and yellow flowers. The flowers open up in the afternoon hours and close by evening.
It is known to resemble the desert environment and can be confused for a stone as it camouflages itself to blend with the soil. This means it needs very small watering (once a month) and needs to be planted in quick-draining soil.
